Theodore Boutrous, Matthew McGill and Anne Champion Named Litigators of the Week

The Am Law Litigation Daily named Los Angeles partner Theodore J. Boutrous Jr., New York partner Anne Champion and Washington, D.C. partner Matthew D. McGill as its Litigators of the Week for defeating the attempt to block the publication of her now-best seller “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.” The profile was published on July 17, 2020.

Ted Boutrous is Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Group. As both a crisis management strategist and a seasoned appellate and media lawyer, he has extensive experience handling high-profile litigation, media relations and media legal issues.  He routinely advises clients in planning how to respond, and in responding, to crises and other especially significant legal problems that attract the media spotlight.

Matthew McGill’s practice focuses on cases involving novel and complex questions of federal law, often in high-profile litigation against governmental entities.

Anne Champion has played a lead role in a wide range of high-stakes litigation matters, including trials.  Her practice focuses on complex international disputes, including RICO, fraud, and tort claims, and includes federal and state court litigation and international arbitration.  She also has significant experience in First Amendment and intellectual property disputes.
