Kunal Kanodia is an associate in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department, where he focuses on Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation and White Collar Defense and Investigations matters. Mr. Kanodia also maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on civil rights, immigration and asylum related proceedings.
Mr. Kanodia earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2020. While in law school, he served as President of the South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA) and was an active member of Lambda. He also served as Associate Editor of the University of Pennsylvania East Asian Law Review. Prior to his legal studies, Mr. Kanodia earned his B.A., cum laude, in Human Rights from Columbia University in 2017 where he was awarded the Undergraduate Human Rights Prize and elected Columbia College Class Senior Marshall.
Mr. Kanodia is admitted to practice law in California, New York and Texas. He is a native speaker of Hindi.
