Jennifer Katz is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Her practice focuses on the intersection of law and technology, frequently on issues related to data privacy and security. She represents clients across industries in regulatory and litigation matters and advises on product and program development, compliance strategies, and merger and acquisition due diligence. Jenn is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
She maintains an active pro bono practice, including successfully obtaining asylum for a Jamaican immigrant, other immigration matters, and advising small businesses on privacy programs and policies.
In 2022, Jenn served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nicholas G. Garaufis of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She graduated from Columbia Law School in 2020, where she was a James Kent Scholar and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as a Forum Editor of the Columbia Law Review. Jenn graduated cum laude from Northwestern University in 2015 with a degree in Social Policy.
