Azucena Marquez is a litigation associate in the New York office of Gibson Dunn.
Azucena earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 2023, where she served as President of La Alianza, the Upper-Level Ames Moot Court Chair, was a member of the Board of Student Advisers, and an Articles Editor for the Harvard Latin American Law Review. She was also a student attorney for the Harvard Crimmigration Clinic and held internships with EQUIS Justicia para las Mujeres in Mexico City and DeJusticia in Bogotá.
Azucena received her B.A. with Honors in History and a minor in International Relations from Stanford University. She was an Arthur Liman Undergrad Fellow at Yale Law School. Prior to law school, Azucena was an analyst at Cornerstone Research.
Azucena served as a law clerk to the Honorable Edgardo Ramos in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice before the Southern District of New York.
