Gibson Dunn Advised EQT on €1 Billion Financing of ICEYE Oy

Gibson Dunn advised global investment firm EQT as co-lead investor on the €1 billion Series F financing round of ICEYE Oy, the world’s leading provider of sovereign intelligence from space, at a valuation exceeding €10 billion.

EQT invested through the Scaleup Europe Fund, which was established by the European Commission alongside a group of European investors and is managed by EQT. ICEYE is the fund’s first investment.

Founded in Finland in 2014, ICEYE owns and operates the world’s largest and most advanced synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite constellation, delivering continuous monitoring capability in any weather, day or night.
