Law.com International named Gibson Dunn the International Arbitration Firm of the Year at the Asia Legal Awards 2024, recognizing the firm’s successful representation of its international clients in their most challenging disputes in Asia. Singapore partner Paul Tan and Singapore associates Jonathan Lai and Viraen Vaswani accepted the award on behalf of the practice.
Bain Capital’s $3.16 billion take-private of Chindata was also named Private Equity Deal of the Year. Gibson Dunn advised the Special Committee of Chindata on the transaction. The team included Hong Kong partner Brian Schwarzwalder, Beijing partner Qi Yue, Singapore partner Jamie Thomas, Singapore associate John Cheah, and San Francisco partner Brian Lutz.
The awards were presented on March 14, 2024.
