BIOGRAPHY

Jialin Yang is an associate attorney in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

She received her Juris Doctor in 2020 from Cornell Law School, where she served as Assistant Judicial Codes Counselor and as Senior Notes Editor of the Cornell Law Review. While in law school, Jialin advocated for clients in the Capital Punishment Clinic, Farmworkers’ Assistance Clinic, and Women’s Decarceration Clinic. She served as a judicial intern to the Honorable John. H. Chun of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division One (previously King County Superior Court).

Jialin received her Bachelor of Arts in Geography and International Relations from the University of British Columbia in 2015. Prior to attending law school, she worked as an Assistant Language Teacher in Tokyo, Japan through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program.

Jialin is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
