Kolkey, a former Associate Justice on the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District, and former Counsel to the Governor of California, Gibson Dunn’s California Appellate Practice Group has prepared the attached California Supreme Court Fall 2017 Round-Up, which previews upcoming cases and summarizes select opinions issued by the Court. This edition includes opinions handed down from December 2016 through August 2017, organized by subject. Each entry contains a description of the case, as well as a substantive analysis of the Court’s decision.
