Gibson Dunn is advising The North Road Company, the preeminent independent U.S.-based studio founded by Peter Chernin, on its sale to Mediawan, the leading independent European studio led by Pierre-Antoine Capton and co-founded by Capton, Xavier Niel, and Matthieu Pigasse. The combination creates one of the world’s largest independent studios, with major creative hubs on five continents and capabilities spanning all genres, formats, and audiences.
