Meredith C. Shaughnessy is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher where she currently practices in the Firms Tax Department and its Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Practice Group.
Ms. Shaughnessy has advised on mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, corporate governance and securities issues and venture capital financings.
She graduated from Brown University in 1994 receiving a B.A. in Anthropology, and then worked in the legal and business affairs departments of record companies in New York and Los Angeles. In 2003, she earned a law degree from the UCLA School of Law and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where she was a member of the Anderson Business Honor Society. Ms. Shaughnessy is a member of Gibson Dunn & Crutchers Diversity Committee.
Ms. Shaughnessy is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
