Lauren Escher is an associate in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices in the firm's Litigation Department.
Ms. Escher received her J.D., Order of the Coif, from University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2013, where she was Managing Editor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. While in law school, Ms. Escher externed in the Office of the California Attorney General Consumer Law Section, worked as a Property Law tutor for the Academic Support Program, participated as a member of the moot court program winning best oralist in the regional competition, and successfully advocated for asylum as part of the California Asylum Representation Clinic. Ms. Escher earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science from Boston College in 2008.
Prior to law school, Ms. Escher worked in public strategy consulting including serving at headquarters of a presidential campaign.
Ms. Escher is currently admitted to practice law in the State of California.
