Stephanie V. Balitzer is an associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s Los Angeles office. She practices with the firm’s Litigation Department.
Ms. Balitzer received her law degree cum laude in 2016 from the University of Michigan Law School. While in law school, she served as the Managing Editor of the Michigan Journal of Law Reform, and published a Note in the journal entitled What Common Law and Common Sense Teach Us About Corporate Cybersecurity, 49 U. Mich. J. L. Reform 891 (2016). Prior to attending law school, Ms. Balitzer worked in the private investigations industry and as a trial preparation assistant in the Rackets Bureau of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Balitzer graduated summa cum laude in 2010 from Tufts University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Spanish. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Balitzer clerked for The Honorable Carol E. Jackson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
