Caitlin R. Cornell is of counsel in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity.

Ms. Cornell represents both public and private companies, as well as financial sponsors, in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments, restructurings and other complex corporate transactions.

Ms. Cornell received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, in 2013 from Syracuse University College of Law, where she was an Associate Notes Editor for the Syracuse Law Review.  She received her Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Public Health from Syracuse University in 2010.  Ms. Cornell also received a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University in 2013.

Ms. Cornell is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
