Kyle Neema Guest is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he is a member of the firm’s Environmental Litigation and Mass Tort, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), and Energy & Infrastructure Practice Groups.
Mr. Guest advises the firm’s clients regarding compliance with environmental, wildlife & natural resource protection, and occupational health & safety laws, and also advises on ESG and sustainability matters, including corporate disclosures, policies, reporting, and integration issues. He is experienced in identifying environmental, ESG, and occupational health & safety risks in corporate transactions and clean energy financings and in negotiating key transactional documents for buyers, sellers, and financiers operating in the clean energy, oil & gas, industrial, and commercial real estate sectors, among others. Mr. Guest regularly leads environmental, ESG, and occupational health & safety due diligence assessments in complex transactions and guides transactional clients through environmental indemnity disputes, permit transfers, and environmental insurance policy procurement. In addition, Mr. Guest has experience with environmental and occupation health & safety enforcement proceedings, environmental investigations, and environmental litigation.
Mr. Guest graduated with high honors from Texas Law, where he was named a Chancellor and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia, where he completed a double major in Environmental Policy and Economics.
Mr. Guest is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and the District of Columbia.
