Meghan Higgins is a U.S. and English qualified associate in the San Francisco office of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher.
Ms. Higgins specialises in commercial litigation and international arbitration. She has a particular interest in transnational litigation and multi-jurisdictional disputes. She has advised both foreign governments and international corporations on issues of public and private international law. Ms. Higgins has represented clients before the U.S. and English Courts and the LCIA. She has advised clients in a range of industries including technology, energy, construction, and pharmaceuticals.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, Ms. Higgins served as a Deputy City Attorney for the City and County of San Francisco, where she appeared frequently before the state and federal courts of California and gained extensive trial experience. Ms. Higgins also practiced as a litigation associate at a major US law firm.
Ms. Higgins served as a law clerk to the Honorable Barry G. Silverman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from 2004 to 2005.
