"Larry's experience in the areas of securities litigation and enforcement, white collar and antitrust litigation will be a tremendous asset to the firm as those are strong growth areas for the New York office and firmwide," said Ken Doran, Managing Partner of Gibson Dunn.  "He has an exceptional reputation in the legal and business community, and we are glad to have him on board."

"Larry's experience and background make him a wonderful addition to the New York office," said Randy Mastro, Co-Chair of Gibson Dunn's Litigation Department.  "Larry is exactly the type of litigation partner we want.  He's an experienced trial lawyer with expertise consistent with the firm's strengths and a shared commitment to deliver the highest quality legal work to our clients."

Zweifach joins a group of more than 25 former Assistant U.S. Attorneys, U.S. Department of Justice prosecutors, and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement alumni at Gibson Dunn.  In recent months, Gibson Dunn has recruited three other partners in securities litigation and enforcement and accountants' liability, including Mark Schonfeld, the former Director of the SEC New York Regional Office; and Robert Hubbell, Charles Jaeger and George Brown from Heller Ehrman.

"I am delighted to join Gibson Dunn," said Zweifach,  "The firm’s New York office is well-established, and its litigation practice in New York and firmwide is among the most respected in the legal community.  I am very excited about starting this new chapter in my career."
