Based in New York or D.C., the CRM Data Steward is a three month temporary assignment. This person will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the Firm’s CRM system, InterAction.  The position will also be responsible for sending of mass emailing using the Tikit emarketing platform. The position should have a strong customer focus, very responsive to user requests, team player, great attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of firm personnel.

 

The position will work directly with the CRM Database Manager and a team of two data stewards to complete ongoing data quality tasks within the Firm’s CRM system, along with responding to incoming email requests from various members firmwide.

 

This position reports to the CRM Database Manager.  The position works directly with all members of the Marketing Department along with secretaries and partners firm wide, when needed.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Format and distribute client news alerts and event invitations via Tikit’s eMerge software.
  • Produce and update HTML email templates and online registration forms.
  • Process bounced back emails.
  • Marketing Dept. Support – work closely with Marketing Department, domestic and international offices, to handle requests such as data imports/exports of various types of lists, as well as develop lists to support pre- and post-events, and act as backup to local office marketing staff with miscellaneous Interaction tasks, when needed.
  • Process data change tickets via InterAction’s Data Change Management inbox.
  • Assist with on-going data clean-up projects within the CRM system.
  • Apply and adhere to data standards and data use policies when supporting the Marketing staff and other types of users.

 

Qualifications

  • Background knowledge of InterAction and Tikit.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.Must have HTML experience.
  • Strong research skills and ability to determine the best resource via the Internet when researching the current status of a contact record.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities, track and manage tasks is key to success. Must exhibit grace under pressure.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of lawyers, secretaries, marketing and other support staff.
  • Ability to use diplomacy, facilitation skills and the ability to manage conflict.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving ability is require.
  • Ability to grasp business process, priorities and goals as well as understand basic business relationship and confidentiality principles and adhere to those principles.

Experience

  • Required experience of InterAction and Tikit software.
  • 1-2 years work experience in the professional services industry is preferred. Experience in a legal services environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience that shows an interest in both data management and email marketing is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

The hourly compensation range for this position is $30-36/hour. Benefits offered for this position include health care and paid sick time.
