Jessica Brostek-Maciel is a litigation associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s Orange County office. She currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on labor and employment litigation and compliance counseling.
Jessica has litigated a wide range of labor and employment matters, including defending employers in discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination in federal and state courts. She also advises employers on compliance with state and federal laws in these areas. Jessica has also represented clients in complex business litigation, and is an active pro bono attorney in the Orange County community.
She received her Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude in 2016 from UC Irvine School of Law, where she served as Senior Editor of the UC Irvine Law Review and Judicial Extern to the Honorable Josephine L. Staton of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. After law school, she served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable John C. Coughenour of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Jessica graduated from UC Berkeley in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Before joining Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, she was an associate in the General Litigation Department of O’Melveny & Myers in Orange County. Jessica is a member of the State Bar of California.
