Julie Hamilton is an associate in the Denver office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She practices in the firm’s Litigation Department and is a member of the firm’s White Collar Defense and Investigations, FDA and Health Care, False Claims Act / Qui Tam Defense, and Labor and Employment practice groups.
Ms. Hamilton has experience with internal and government investigations, including civil and criminal investigations by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Federal Trade Commission. Among other matters, she has represented global pharmaceutical companies in U.S. and international investigations and litigation, including in connection with an investigation by the SEC and DOJ into alleged securities fraud and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations, and public companies in connection with civil investigation demands by the FTC. Ms. Hamilton also has experience advising companies on data preservation and privacy issues, and she has represented companies in state court litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hamilton clerked for the Honorable Allison H. Eid, then of the Colorado Supreme Court, now of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Ms. Hamilton received her law degree in 2016 from Harvard Law School. She graduated with high honors from the University of Montana in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies: Rhetoric and Public Discourse Concentration and minors in Economics and Political Science.
Ms. Hamilton is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado and is a member of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association.
