Collin Metcalf is an associate in the Houston office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He currently practices in the firm’s Tax practice group.
Mr. Metcalf received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 2019, where he served as an editor of the Harvard Business Law Review and a research assistant for professors Howard Abrams, Mihir Desai, Glenn Cohen, and Nina Mendelson. During law school, Mr. Metcalf interned with the U.S. Department of Justice and assisted multiple startups through the Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Project.
Prior to law school, Mr. Metcalf worked for EY as a business valuation analyst. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and his Bachelor of Arts in Communication, both magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama in 2014. While in school at Alabama, Mr. Metcalf competed on the speech and debate team, winning four individual national championships in extemporaneous speaking, persuasive speaking, informative speaking, and communication analysis and finishing as the tenth overall speaker in the country his senior year.
