Anthony J. Moreno is an associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s San Francisco office. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department.
Mr. Moreno has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide-range of commercial litigation and intellectual property cases. He regularly represents clients in all stages of litigation with specific experience in the fact discovery, pre-trial, and trial phases. He also has substantial experience in expert discovery and mediation. In addition, Mr. Moreno maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on immigration and housing. He has represented many immigrants in removal and asylum proceedings.
Mr. Moreno graduated from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was elected editor-in-chief of the Chicago Journal of International Law. He previously graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Moreno clerked for Justice James D. Blacklock in the Supreme Court of Texas and The Honorable Consuelo B. Marshall in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He also was an associate in the Litigation Department of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP for three years prior to his clerkships.
Mr. Moreno is a member of the State Bar of California.
