Michael Showalter is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Mr. Showalter served as a law clerk to the Honorable Diane S. Sykes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and to the Honorable Dabney L. Friedrich of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Mr. Showalter received his law degree in 2016 from Yale Law School, where he served as a Comments Editor for the Yale Law Journal. He graduated with highest distinction from the University of Michigan in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Mr. Showalter is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
