BIOGRAPHY

Matthew Sunday is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he currently practices in the firm’s Business Restructuring and Business Reorganization Department.

Matt earned his Juris Doctor from Cornell University School of Law in 2021, where he served as a Notes Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy (JLPP). His Note was published in the second issue of Volume 30 of the Cornell JLPP.

Matt graduated magna cum laude from the Macaulay Honors College of the City University of New York at the City College of New York with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Matt practiced with Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP as a member of the Business Reorganization group from 2021 to 2022.

Matt is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
